AI assistant

Open a connection and click the chat button in the tab bar, or press Cmd+L (Ctrl+L). Paste a query, an error, or a table definition and ask away.

Try:

• “Explain this query.”
• “Why does this SQL fail?”
• “Write a monthly sales query using these tables.”

Each database keeps its own chats. New chat starts fresh, and the chat history in the header brings back an older one, on any of your devices. You can stop an answer halfway, and an answer still being written survives a window reload.

Give it context

The chat knows only what you send it. It does not read your schema, query your data, or change anything on its own. Include the table and column names that matter, then read the SQL it suggests and run it yourself.

AI elsewhere in Tamery

In the table browser, describe the rows you want and choose Ask AI.
