MySQL and MariaDB
Connect to MySQL or MariaDB using a connection string or the connection form.
Choose MySQL or MariaDB under Engine, or paste a connection string:
mysql://user:password@localhost:3306/mydb
mariadb://user:password@localhost:3306/mydb
The default port is 3306. An .env file, a Go DSN like user:pass@tcp(host:3306)/mydb, or a mysql command works too.
SSL
Use your provider's connection string with its SSL options. ssl=true encrypts the connection and verifies the certificate:
mysql://user:[email protected]:3306/mydb?ssl=true
Add sslrejectunauthorized=false to keep encryption but skip the certificate check. ssl=false turns encryption off.
With no SSL option, Tamery tries an encrypted connection without certificate verification. It drops to an unencrypted one only if the server itself says SSL is unavailable.
MariaDB
Everything works as with MySQL: rows, SQL, schema. System-versioned tables show their current rows; query the history with SQL. Sequences are available through SQL rather than the Navigator.
For localhost in the web app, run the local proxy.
